David Allen (no need for New Year's Resolutions about losing a few pounds!)

"Angela was wearing this amazing gold lace - antique or imported (she told me at the time but I have forgotten) and this is what she did when I asked her to show it off for a picture."

"I don't remember whether they were rehearsing (I think that was it) but this is a sweet shot, to me."

The spotlight follows Angela and Roberto during a dance break; David in the background. A hard scene to capture with a small, simple camera; nevertheless, the special soundboard stage, designed to pick up and amplify the clicking of dancing heels is nicely visible in the picture.

On this gig, Carmen opened for Blue Oyster Cult. According to E Sue Blume's recollection of the evening, "The Cult fans treated them horribly".
